Hi. I’m Pablo. I’m an experiential director who uses art and technology to create light installations, immersive experiences, and websites. I also like to ride my bike around New York City, the best city in the world, and currently I’m really into micro lot coffee farming and roasting.

About me

I’m Pablo Gnecco, a Colombian-born experiential director and creative technologist based in Brooklyn. I create immersive installations for public art, brand activations, and cultural institutions, working with light, code, and hardware to make physical things that respond to the people around them, always with the belief that the story matters more than the spectacle.

I studied at SCAD in Savannah and have since made work for clients across tech, entertainment, and the cultural world, with projects shown at major festivals. I’ve been an early member and resident artist at a few new media spaces, and over the years I’ve collaborated with art and research institutions through my practice, Studio Studio. These days I’m focused on permanent light installations and new media sculptures, alongside Origen, a specialty coffee company I started to connect roasters directly with Colombian farmers.

When I’m not in the studio, I’m usually on a bike, in the water, or carrying a camera around. I’m currently open to new work, including consulting and freelance projects, so if you’re building something interesting, I’d like to hear about it.
